Meet The Coach, Trudy Zack Fine

I will help you understand what you really want, what's possibly holding you back and how to process this information in a way that will serve you.

I’m often asked “Did you ever watch the show, How I Met Your Mother?” Apparently, I remind people of Robin Sparkles! My husband and I are finally binge watching the show and I’m still trying to figure out the connection (other than the facts that we’re both from Canada and we both have brown hair). Unlike Robin (so far), I knew I wanted the domestic life, and found myself an amazing husband with whom I have two awesome “offspring”. They all keep me on my toes, feeling incredibly loved, and they teach me life lessons I’d never learn anywhere else.

After interviewing various therapists and psychologists, and after trying to figure out what path I wanted to take after completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (a hundred years ago), I landed in Human Resources (H.R.).

With a Master’s in Industrial Relations (a fancy term for Labor Relations / H.R.), I knew I needed to be in a profession that helped people, yet incorporated an exciting business element. People and business and luxury hotels… this was a perfect blend for the first chapter of my career.

As a Human Resources professional and consultant, I worked with amazing teams in some pretty awesome hotels as well as corporate offices in Canada and the United States. I loved training and helping managers learn new skills to be more effective with their staff, in their jobs, as well as boost their own confidence.

With domestic life no longer being conducive to traveling around the globe to luxurious Fairmont’s and swanky Viceroy’s, I knew it was time to find the next chapter in my career, where I could take my H.R. experience and continue helping people within the business world. I went through the International Coach Federation Accredited Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) Coach Training Program in 2015. I am beyond passionate about my evolution from H.R. Consultant to Certified Professional Coach, helping people who might be stuck personally or professionally move forward in ways that serve them!

The Coaching modality to help people move forward is what I was looking for back in the day when the fields of Therapy and Psychology were really all that existed.

So what is it about Coaching that lights my fire? Well, I’m a firm believer in making the most out of this life we are given; to me, that means striving to always be positive, see the glass half-full, take risks, and move forward. Along the way, I’ve learned—and I continue to learn—that it’s ok to get stuck sometimes. That’s part of the journey. It’s how you move forward that really matters. To quote one of my favorite business coaches, the witty, brilliant and inspiring Jennifer Barley: “How you do anything is how you do everything.” I’ve had some incredible partners, friends, coaches and family along the way, to whom I turn to in order to do anything and everything in the best possible version of me.

The least I can do is share my experience, my life lessons, my intuition and my passion with others, and help you make the most out of whatever your situation is so you too can be positive, see the glass half-full, take risks, and move forward in ways that serve you!

As your Coach, I will offer you a safe place to:

  • Be you – No Judgment.
  • Focus on you – No Distractions.
  • Move forward – No Limits.
